Last night I had a dream that Sammie sent off 13 balloons shaped like hearts and as they go higher smiley faces and halos appeared. No balloons popped or were out of sight. Sammie could see and count them all over and over. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.

We want to thank you for the gift card and the other presents we received during our stay at U of M Hospital 2 weeks ago. Our son Parker was in coma due to a rare Acute Necrotizing Encephalopathy of Childhood (ANEC). He became an angel on December 21, 2012.

I feel so blessed to know you Karen and through you, Leah. Learning about Leah and how much she taught you about love, encouragement and just joy in every day life. I am so amazed that this all came from a little girl- only 5 years and even younger teaching you, trying to prepare you to live the rest of your life without her here physically. I know she is always with you. Her love lives in you and others see that special light that radiates from you. My heart breaks knowing the immeasurable pain you suffer from your loss while I'm also in awe of how you chose to honor Leah by dedicating yourself to helping other children as well as to live each day with a positive attitude no matter what you face. I know some days are harder than others and at times, overwhelming but God's love surrounds you and his arms are there holding you together when you can't do it on your own. I hope you feel I'm a friend you can call and a shoulder you can cry on when you need one. You are amazing and Leah was blessed as you were all blessed having experienced her during her short but powerful life. You are in my prayers.

Hello Phil, Karen, and Kylie.
We just wanted to tell you that our thoughts and prayers still go out to you on this anniversary of Leah's passing. We think about Leah and you all the time. I have visited Leah on a regular basis and her site is being well maintained. Today is a very emotional day for us all. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with you always. We miss you here in Michigan and we will always be here for you. WE LOVE YOU!

I know you hear us when we speak of you and I know you hear us when we come to see you. We love you very much and miss you dearly.
