Just wanted to say, since we reconnected the other day, that I am praying for you all over again.

Go Forward With Courage

When you are in doubt, be still, and wait;
when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage.
So long as mists envelop you, be still;
be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists
-- as it surely will.
Then act with courage.

Ponca Chief White Eagle (1800's to 1914)

Sending you my love,

Kristy

I didn't see that episode of private practice but I did see the next episode.  That was the one where the babies got switched at birth and the one baby was sick and was going to die within 5 years.  Then the moms have to switch the babies back to the correct mothers and it wrecked me.  Oh I cried a lot.  That is a really good show.
I think of you and your family often.

OMG!  I'm so glad you saw Private Practice too.  I was wondering if anyone saw it.  I ended up calling Carla freaking out.  I was crying because it brought back so many thoughts yet I was so excited that finally some national exposure to this tumor.  I actually went on the site to see if I could find out some way to contact the producer to thank them.  No luck though.  Now that you brought it up I may look more into it.  Glad you guys are still hanging in there.  Always thinking of you.

Hi Karen,

It was great to see you the other day @ gymnastics.  We still think about all of you often.  I saw that episode & thought of all of you.  Our thoughts & prayers are always with you!  We miss her too.  Take care & know that there are many of us still there listening!  Please let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help - with anything - including the Christmas thing @ Motts.  Just jot me an e-mail.  God Bless you!

Sounds like things are going well for you guys.  Your Christmas party sounds so very nice for the kids -- they are going to love it!

We missed you guys so much at the Vegas gathering this year.  I know you had a lot of things going on, but maybe next year???

Thinking of Leah and Sam playing together in heaven warms my heart so very very much these days.  You think you're doing great some days, and, like you put in your update, something triggers a memory or thought of your child. Your back in the dumps for a while.  I love your updates, Karen.

Take care, and lots of hugs from here.

Hope

Hi Karen.

I haven't spoke to you in a while.  I'm sorry I missed dinner last week...I was looking forward to seeing you.  I would love to get together for lunch one day.  Maybe in the next few weeks?  I wanted you to know that I DID see that episode and, as I watched "the story" unfold and how her son died of an inoperable brain tumor ... it made me think of Leah, and all the other beautiful angels ... and how this 'story' was so ... horrible ... so sad ... so unthinkable ... but yet so .... REAL.   I cried for all the brave little soles who endured so much.  I am still so sorry you have to live this "unthinkable" every day.   My prayers for you continue and I'm so glad you are finding your faith to be stronger and stronger these days.  Lean on Him.

I can't believe that you actually mentioned you were looking for a Girl Scout troop to help with your first event.  I was just talking to another mom of a girl in my daughter's girl scout troop YESTERDAY and told her that I wanted to organize a few community service events for our girls this year.  Karen, I would be HONORED if you would let our troop help in any way that we can.  PLEASE contact me about this.  Consider us 'signed up'!!!
I'll be in touch with you soon.  Hugs to all of you, Lisa.
