Comments: HI Phil, Karen and Kylie, I just wanted to say hello. We think of you all of the time and just about everyday Katie mentions Leah. Leah will forever be in her heart and in her thoughts. We had a little 7 1/2 birthday party for Katie a week ago Saturday, (remember how we have her friends party in the summer since her b-day is the week of Christmas?) on the morning of the party Katie thought of Leah, and when I told Katie it was Ms. Karen's birthday, I could see she got tears in her eyes. She misses Leah so much. She still asks me the same questions like the one you did in your latest up-date..."if we fly in a airplane through the clouds can we see angles?"
I hope you are all doing well. Please tell Kylie that Katie would still like to visit with her one day. Love to you all, Josann and Family

I think of you guys often and pray for peace and strength. I'm glad you had a good time on your vacation. You need to get away. But I realize that you will never get away from your true pain. God will help you ease the pain, as my friend says, give "it" to God. I look forward to helping in any way I can with the Christmas party at Mott's. Please call on me! Take care!

Comments: I think of you and Angel Leah often - sounds like you are enjoying your time off work - with Kylie, etc. That makes me smile.
Thanks for updating all of us on what you have been up to. It sounds like events like Las Vegas are helpful!!!! That is so good to hear.
Sending lots of hugs your way!!!

Comments: Hi I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and that I hope you are all having a nice summer. I wish I was able to go to the DPG conference and meet you in person. But I am unable to attend. I hope that next year the conference can be held closer to the east coast.

Comments: Just wanted to let you all know that you're in thoughts and prayers even though we've never met. This site is such an inspiration to others in the gentle and touching way that you share Leah's life. Thank you for sharing her with so many. Vicki P. Stevens

Comments: God saw that you were hurting, and couldn't bear it anymore. He only wanted to banish, the pain behind your every door. He saw that you were brave enough, and had love for all to feel. He knew that death could never banish the lessons you've appealed. So he took away the discomfort, that you felt more and more, He gave you a big bear hug and said,"Heaven's all yours!" Your family who is just as strong, though they will feel grieved at first will come to realize the lessons, you taught them here on earth.
Karen, Sam read this poem, inspired partly by Leah at Camp Sunshine, in honor of all the children that have died of brain tumors. It was very touching and of course we were thinking of Leah. We are praying for you and your wonderful family. Take Care.. Love, Ellen, Sammi and Alec Robertson

Wow. I read the "What to say" list, and I told my mom and she totally agrees. When my sister had cancer, someone told her that she was jealous of my mom, because the hard times pull you closer to God. All that made us feel better was a great big bear hug, so if I see you while I visit NCS, I will definitely give you one.
I have been thinking about you lately, and decided to check in. The prayers have not stopped, and if there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to email me.(I don't really think I should post my phone number on a public site)
By the way, Kylie, do you know what teacher you have for sixth grade yet? I hope you have a great year. Middle School is really fun!
May Your Heart be Happy, Katie
