I am so glad that you are feeling better. If being sick actually made it a little easier for you to deal with things than I am glad that it did. My mother had a similiar infection and she was hospitalized for more than a week so I am glad that you didn't have it that bad.

Wishing you a happy new year and that Leah's happy hearts does great things for kids and their families this year!!

Let us know how you are doing.  With the warm temperatures, there are so many bugs out there not getting killed - so think optimistically.

Hey Karen,

Hope you are feeling better.  I missed everyone on Christmas because as you know I was not there either.  I had loads of fun vomiting.  Merry Christmas to us hey!!  Hope that you had a blessed morning on Christmas and that Leah left you a sign from heaven.  Hello to Phil and Kylie.   Boy did Julianne have fun with Kylie on Christmas eve, that is all we have heard about!!  Hope to be in touch soon.  Call and let me know what the latest is with the lymph nodes.

Hi Karen.  You may just have strep throat...I had it a week or so ago and had the same symptoms as you.  At least stay positive until you see your doctor and keep your chin up.  On another note, I just want to tell you that I've been thinking of you a lot the last few days and I hope Leah has sent you a few special signs this Holiday.  Sending my best wishes and prayers your way.  Hugs Hugs Hugs Hugs!

I hope that what you are going through is only an infection.  Please know that Leah and your family are in my thoughts and prayers every day.  We pray daily for the kids who are battling this disease but also for kids and their families who have lost their battle with this 'monster'.  Please know I wish you a peaceful holiday and thank you for all you do for the other parents with kids who are going through their own journey.  Please know that Leah has made my heart happy.
