Hello Karen, Stopping by to let you know that I was thinking of you and your family. I'm glad your faith is getting stronger and I too go to the bible. I guess when one goes through a tragedy, such as ours, they will either get closer to God or distance themselves from God. I have to admit that I find myself asking God Why (As in the Book of Job) but realize he understands. I really liked the list you posted about grief and may copy it as well. Hope your trip out west gives you some peace. If you would like to get together for lunch/dinner sometime let me know. Linda Ryan's mommy forever www.caringbridge.org/mi/ryanc

Karen, The things that you published today on the website are awesome about grieving parents. They need to be keepers for any of us to pass on to other parents who have had the unfortunate experience of losing a child. I truly can't think of anything worse. I think of you often and pray for your peace along with Phil and Kylie obtaining their peace also. Try to draw on the energy of the mountains in Arizonia. Love, Geri

Dear Karen, I have been to Arizona a few times. It is incredibly beautiful. I have said it is as close to God as you can get. In that regard, I can certainly see how you will feel close to Leah. We just drove through Sedona on the way to the Grand Canyon. I think this trip will be healing for you and your family. Thinking of you and your beautiful Leah's "happy heart" tonight. Love, Susan (Angel Timmy's Mom)

Thank you to John Alessi for the beautiful story, it brought a great deal of comfort to be during my difficult time with my son who is dying of a very rare disease. To the James Family, My prayers are with you. Your little Leah looks like an angel from above. She must be the twinkle in your eye, and the warmth in your heart. You are so blessed, even if it was too short of a time here on Earth. I know for myself I find great comfort in knowing I will see my son again in heaven. So just remember she is waiting for you to join here. Sincerely, Christy

Karen, Just wanted to stop by and let you know that I am still praying for your family. I think that you have a great idea having people mail you their favorite memory of Leah to you during the holiday season. I hope that these memories will bring a smile to your face. I am glad that Kylie is keeping busy and having some fun with her activities...how hard it must be to lose your little sister..many of us have no idea. I continue to pray to Leah to have her send some more signs your way, hope she does soon. I hope you continue to journal as your entries I am sure have helped other families whose child may have a life threatening illness. Looking forward to purchasing those bracelets!!!
