Comments: I think about you often and pray for the people who make those mean comments to you and your family. My hope is that they can find the wisdom to just say "I'm sorry for your loss" and leave it at that.
I am very sorry for your loss of Leah and pray that you and your family will find peace, strength and comfort. I pray that your new normal will be bearable.
I would love to help in anyway with your fun run! Please call me if you need me! Take care and many blessing to you.

Comments: Hey Everybody- It is awesome that so many people continue to support Phil, Karen, and Kylie through Happy Hearts and other gifts. Leah's memory stays alive and vibrant every time individuals and/or organizations give of their time, energy, and money. And what makes it real special, is that it is not just the adults. Our own two little ones, Nathan and Sammie, recently threw their own fundraiser at Pump It Up. They combined their birthday parties and instead of gifts for themselves, they asked for gifts of money for Leah's Happy Hearts. It makes our family very proud. We hope that in the future that we can brainstorm other ideas to get more kids involved in fundraising ideas. It seems like a great legacy to carry on--one that will always make Leah's heart happy. Phil, Karen, and Kylie you are in our daily prayers. God Bless You. Love, Herb

Karen, I think most everyone understands that some days are better than others and your feelings could be like a rollercoaster ride and change minute by minute. Please continue to write and express your feelings. The good and bad. It's probably one of the best things you can do for yourself. Love you no matter... Hugs! :)
