Comments: Dear James Family:
My heartfelt thoughts are with you.Leah is a beautiful and spirited little girl that is so obviously portrayed in her pictures. I am an elementary school teacher and Leah has touched my heart, as I have never corresponded to people on the internet, that I have never met. I felt compelled to let you know that Leah's story inspired me to react with my own situation. My daughter is 5 and has a lump on her leg which the Dr. said 2 days ago not to worry and it will go away in 2 mos. But when I saw your story on the news tonight on wxyz, Leah reminds me so much of my daughter and I think Leah was telling me not to wait and get it checked out. There was a reason for me to see this story tonight and as I result I am reacting by calling my Dr. tomorrow. Your family gives strength to other families who have gone through what you have. What a special little girl to touch hearts across the border. This is her way to tell us that she lives on.
sincerely, Melissa O'Connor

Comments: God Bless You. You are doing your best to cope and doing something good in the process. I don't understand this. And you don't either. Yet, you are trying your best to give to others. God Bless you and why this happened... I don't know. Leah looks beautiful. Keep the faith and thank you for the happiness that you are bringing to others. I will pray for your family.

We decorated our Christmas tree this past week. I still have the pink ornament that Kylie and Leah gave me when I was their gymnastics teacher at Ms. Peggy's. It will always have a special spot on my tree!
