Dear James Family:
My heartfelt thoughts are with you.Leah is a beautiful and spirited little girl that is so obviously portrayed in her pictures. I am an elementary school teacher and Leah has touched my heart, as I have never corresponded to people on the internet, that I have never met. I felt compelled to let you know that Leah's story inspired me to react with my own situation. My daughter is 5 and has a lump on her leg which the Dr. said 2 days ago not to worry and it will go away in 2 mos. But when I saw your story on the news tonight on wxyz, Leah reminds me so much of my daughter and I think Leah was telling me not to wait and get it checked out. There was a reason for me to see this story tonight and as I result I am reacting by calling my Dr. tomorrow. Your family gives strength to other families who have gone through what you have. What a special little girl to touch hearts across the border. This is her way to tell us that she lives on.

God Bless You. You are doing your best to cope and doing something good in the process. I don't understand this. And you don't either. Yet, you are trying your best to give to others. God Bless you and why this happened... I don't know. Leah looks beautiful. Keep the faith and thank you for the happiness that you are bringing to others. I will pray for your family.

We decorated our Christmas tree this past week. I still have the pink ornament that Kylie and Leah gave me when I was their gymnastics teacher at Ms. Peggy's. It will always have a special spot on my tree!
