Hi Karen,
Just stopping by to say I'm thinking of you ... and Leah, as I often do.  I can only imagine how difficult this past weekend was.  I hope you were able to celebrate Mother's Day with the thought in mind that you are the best darn mom any two beautiful girls could ask for!!! :)  Looking forward to lunch with you.

Dear Karen,

Have you seen the Miles Levin story in the news a few weeks ago? He is a young man fighting cancer. His blogs are on carepages.com. Go there, and register, if you haven't already (it's free).  His mom wrote a letter there today that made me think of you and the pain that's tearing you to pieces today and most other days. I think his mom's letter will touch you because I can see that she totally knows your pain.  I hope it meets your broken heart, and I wish blessings today to you, Kylie and Phil.

Karen,

I know there is nothing I can say or do that will make you feel better today, but please know I wish you a Happy Mother's Day.  All I can offer you is my thoughts and prayers, of which you have both every day.  It has been 8 weeks since Matthew joined Leah in heaven and I can only imagine how hard this day is going to be for Linda and all mothers that have lost a child.  What a wonderful tribute you are offering for Leah but maintaining this site.  I only wish I lived closer so I could attend your up coming events.

Please know I pray every night for God to comfort that parents and siblings of those who have lost a child and/or brother or sister.

I wish to thank you for all you are doing to help raise money so that a cure can be found.  You may not know this but I was looking back on Matthew's guest book and you were the first person to sign it, just those few words of encouragement meant a lot to Matthew and us during his journey.  I hope you get some comfort that Leah and all the children are smiling down on their mothers today, and every day.  You are a wonderful mother and the love you have for both of your daughters (and Phil too) is very obvious.

God Bless and thanks again for everything.

Rich (Angel Matthew's Dad)

My heart goes out to you.  I wish I could ease the depth of your grief.  Losing a child is the worst thing a parent can endure.

You were certainly blessed to have and hold your lil angel Leah for just a short time.  Our boys prayed for Leah throughout the time she was here on earth and we cried the day she became an angel.

Our first child was stillborn in 1997 and each year at Thanksgiving we visit his grave thanking God for the blessings in our life.  Although a decade has passed, this loss changed our life forever.

We loved your video -- I cried and cried and cried.

We send you our love ......and hugs this Mom's day.  :)

Hi Karen,

I KNOW how difficult this is for you.  You know you are in my thoughts...a lot. I'll be thinking of you on Mothers Day.  This year is going to be extra difficult for us both.  I know both of our moms are now with our children, their grandchildren.  I know that there will never be a "happy" Mother's day for us....but I will be thinking of all of us in this rotten club we gained membership to on Mother's day.
For those of you who have your children TREASURE them.  For those of you have still have your mother...you are blessed!  Tell them that you LOVE them.
Karen, Phil and Kylie...I'll see you on the 18th.
Blessings to you, you are making such a difference!
Smooches,
Lauren

I keep waiting to wake up as well.  It's so difficult.  Now the weather is nice all the kids are out playing.  I keep waiting for Cameron to run in and say, "What's for dinner? You fell asleep."

I'm really getting into planning for August I can't wait to give you a hug!!
